On the evening of November 13, the Graduate School and the School of Foreign Languages jointly organized an English Corner on Sunshine Campus, titled "Research, Relationship, and Resilience: A Journey of Postgraduate Life." The topics of the English Corner focused on the key challenges in academic research, the supervisor-student relationships, and personal growth of postgraduates. Postgraduates from different faculties and majors attended the activity, as well as some supervisors and foreign teachers.

The activity consisted of 3 parts: warm-up opening talk, free talk and public speeches. After the warm-up activity, students formed small groups to begin their free talk, exchanging ideas on research difficulties, effective communication with supervisors, and personal experiences during their academic journeys. The interaction enhanced both English communication skills and mutual understanding among peers.

In the speech segment, six postgraduate representatives shared in English their practical experiences and insights regarding thesis writing & publishing, and positive mindset maintaining. The presentations were well-received and sparked strong resonance among the audience.

Finally, foreign teacher Isaac summarized the aim of the English Corner. He encouraged the postgraduates to open their mouth to freely express their ideas.
This English Corner provided a cross-disciplinary platform for academic and emotional exchange, reinforcing a supportive campus environment. The School of Foreign Languages will continue to organize more activities like this to cultivate well-rounded talents with global perspectives and innovative capabilities.
